Christ the Center

2 Corinthians 5.17 (BSB)… Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come!

Galatians 2.20 (BSB)… I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

Obedience to Christ

His Spirit

His Strength

His Faithfulness

Put Christ First

Matthew 6.33 (BSB)… But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.

Luke 9.23 (BSB)… Then Jesus said to all of them, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me.”

Separate From the World

1 John 2.15-16 (BSB)… 15 Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.

Be Steadfast

Love

Humility

Philippians 2.3-4 (BSB)… 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but in humility consider others more important than yourselves. 4 Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.

Faith

Good Works

Galatians 6.9-10 (BSB)… 9 Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to the family of faith.
