  • Brett - Founder, guiding elder, lead teaching elder

    Brett and his wife Lacey are the blessed parents of four grown children. A native of southern Illinois, he is a graduate of Union University (B.A.), Southwestern Seminary (M.Div.BL), and Luther Rice (D.Min.). Preaching since his teen years, he has been a guest speaker at camps, retreats, college chapels, and various other venues. He blogs at pastorbrett.wordpress.com. He is also a member of the ownership group of the NFL's Green Bay Packers. He is the author of These Five Anchors: Discovering the Five Doctrines That Bring Stability to Your Life and Eternity.


    Brett and his wife Lacey are the blessed parents of four grown children. Teaching publicly since his late teens, he has been a guest speaker at churches, camps, retreats, college chapels, and various other venues. He is the founder of Harvest Jacksonville, where he serves as lead teacher and an elder. He is also the founder of Sound of Truth Ministries, which is the home of his video teachings, audio podcast, books and blog. A native of southern Illinois, he is a graduate of Union University (B.A.), Southwestern Seminary (M.Div.BL), and Luther Rice (D.Min.).

    Lacey and I married in 1995. We have four kids... two boys and two girls.


    Where and when did you get saved?

    Spring of 1986; Benton, Illinois.


    Favorite Book (after the Bible)

    No one favorite. My favorite author is the late Elmer Kelton, who wrote historically accurate Westerns, set mostly in Texas.


    Favorite Food

    Down home country cooking (especially from Lacey, my Step-Mom, and my Mother-in-Law). Going out to eat?...  Chick-Fil-A, In-N-Out, Cantina Louie's, Longhorn Steakhouse, and Burton's Cafe (Whittington, IL).


    Sports Teams

    St. Louis Cardinals (MLB); Green Bay Packers (NFL), Jacksonville Jaguars (NFL, my AFC team), San Antonio Spurs (NBA), Soccer: Chelsea, Liverpool, AND Man United (It's a long story; I love the Premier League!).


    Favorite Verses

    John 15:5… where Jesus said… “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing."

    Galatians 2.20… I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.


  • Josh - Associate pastor

    Harvest is excited to add Josh to our staff! A graduate of Southeastern Seminary, Josh soversees our young adult ministry as well as our Prayer Ministers.

  • Jeff - guiding Elder

    Jeff and his wife, Rosa, have been a part of Harvest for over a decade. A CPA who works in the finance industry, Jeff leads a LIFE group and oversees volunteers and finances at Harvest.

    Rosa and I married in 1992. We have one daughter and one son (both now adults).

    Rick, in addition to serving as a teaching elder at Harvest, leads a LIFE group online and helps with the student ministry.

    As leader of the LIFE group ministry, Armando's passion is to see believers discipled and transformed into the image of Christ and training other leaders who are committed to Harvest's Life Group ministry.
