We would like to thank you for stopping by our website. We are all about the wonderful news that YOU can have a personal relationship with your loving Creator and can be changed by His grace. 

God loves you and has provided a way for you to be in a personal relationship with Him. Two millennia ago God the Father sent Jesus to this world to live a perfect, sinless life that you and I have failed to live, and then for Jesus to go to the cross and die in our place, bearing the wrath of God that you and I deserved. He was buried, but on the third day He rose from the dead, conquering death and hell. The Bible tells us that if we would only repent of our sin and place our faith in Jesus, we will be forgiven of all our sins (past, present, and future), He will come to live in us (in the person of the Holy Spirit), and we will spend all of eternity with Him in a wonderful place we call Heaven.

If that has already happened in your life and you are now a true Christian, we want to help you find your place in serving God and advancing His Kingdom. We believe that the best we can do this is by helping you learn how to listen to Jesus and do what He says. Hearing the voice of Jesus requires placing yourself in a position to hear His voice in your life. That starts with a commitment to spend quality time in His Word, the Bible. Jesus said, "Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock" (Matthew 7.24). At Harvest, we stand on the authority of God's Word.

Furthermore, we recognize that the only way we have the ability to do what Jesus tells us is to be empowered by the Spirit. God says, "Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts" (Zechariah 4.6, ESV). Holy Spirit empowerment is the key to successful Christian living.

We believe that Christians are best equipped to know God and fulfill His purpose in their lives when they are active in three kinds of gatherings:

We gather in LIFE Groups throughout the week, as well as on Sunday mornings after our congregational gathering. A LIFE Group consists of an encouraging community of 4-15 peopel who meet to encourage one another, pray for one another, exercise spiritual gifts, and engage with the Bible together. These groups are the primary expression of the local church.

We promote weekly ATOMIC Groups (accountability groups) for personal spiritual development. These tiny groups meet anywhere, any time, in person or virtual. These strategic groups consist of 2-3 Christ Followers of the same gender, keeping each other accountable for...  (1) personal spiritual disciplines... (2) personal evangelism and... (3) personal holiness, including confession of sin one to another...all in a safe and caring environment of acceptance.

We invite everyone to join us weekly for The Sunday Gathering at 9:20 a.m. (location: 11570 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL, 32223), where we seek to INSPIRE, CELEBRATE, EQUIP, and DEPLOY. In this meeting, similar to what most churches call a "worship service," we sing together, share inspirational testimonies, observe the ordinances (Baptism and Lord's Supper) pray for missions, read the Bible, receive Biblical instruction.
